Ad Hoc Committees

The Consortium agreement foresees the creation of 'ad hoc' committees to assist the Network Coordinator.

Four such committees have been set up:

PR and Communication group

Its role is to supervise the external communication activities of the Network through the website. This includes an advisory role for the policy definition (objectives and priorities, choice of means, choice of messages and choice of target groups) and a decision-making role regarding the contents of the various communication instruments on the website. The committee decides on the structure, lay-out and content of the website.

Fellowships Committee

Applications for fellowships are evaluated by the committee members leading to the approval or rejection of the application.

IT Committee

Its role is primarily to evaluate IT related issues between the various Units and WPs as well as for the website server and propose solutions when problems arise.

Databases/Software Committee

The committee evaluates databases and software as well as projects related to databases on their quality and relevance for the NoE.
