Case studies on quality assurance and quality control issues in genetic testing laboratories

The aim of this session is to discuss one hour at the ESHG, in small groups about concrete situations related to quality processes in genetic testing laboratories (molecular, cytogenetic and biochemical), and to meet colleagues faced with similar challenges and problems.

Training of personnel, reporting, sample reception, non-conformities, corrective and preventive action, and validation are examples of the types of situations that may be tackled.
