Event - BASIC WORKSHOP - Accreditation for beginners, how to implement ISO 15189 (WP1.8)

What

Compare and share experiences of implementing and working with quality systems. Examine cases of concrete situations related to quality processes like non-conformities, reporting and training.

The specific objectives are to compare and share experiences of implementing and working with quality systems and to examine cases of concrete situations related to quality processes that may arise in laboratories, like non-conformities, reporting, training etc. Furthermore the common deficiencies in a quality management system and the ways to proceed for accreditation will be discussed during expert-led interactive sessions in small groups. ISO 15189 will be used as the reference standard during the workshop.

For who?

This workshop is developed especially for laboratories that are at the start of the process of implementation of a quality management system .
Participants include lab directors, scientists, technicians and quality managers.

The workshops are in English.

The number of participants is limited to 25.

Registration fee

Exceptionally for this workshop, we use three different types of registration fees:
Regular registration fee is 475 euro per person
Reduced registration fee for countries with a low HDI is 320 euro per person
Registration fee for industrial partners is 575 euro per person

The reduced registration fee is only valid for the first 15 inscriptions from people from countries with a HDI below 0,930.

EuroGentest reserves the right to control the applications and whether or not to grant the fee of 320 euro.

The registration fee covers documentation, dinner on Friday evening, plus two lunches and morning and afternoon refreshments. Travel and hotel are at the expense of your laboratory.

It is highly recommended to bring the ISO 15189 accreditation standard for medical laboratories with you.
In case you do not have ISO 15189 you can order a pdf version in combination with your registration for this workshop for 125 euro.

Accommodation

Registration fee does not include hotel accommodation. Participants should arrange their own accommodation.

We would like to recommend the following hotels:

Hotel City : is a nice and budget friendly hotel.

Hotel Park : is the nearest one (about 5-10 minute walk).

Best Western Premier Hotel Slon : is a bit more expensive and about 20 minutes walking (at the end of the shopping street Čopova).

Hostel Celica : cheap rooms for about 30 euro.

Aparmaji : apartments and private accommodation in Ljubljana.

Cancellation policy

For cancellation within 6 weeks of the workshop, 50% of the registration fee is due to cover our costs.
For cancellation within 3 weeks or no-show, registration will be billed in full.

If you are unable to attend you may nominate a replacement participant and transfer the registration any time before the first day of the course.

EuroGentest reserves the right to cancel courses should insufficient registrations be received.
In that case, you will be informed 8 weeks before the workshop and the full registration fee will be refunded.

EuroGentest can not be held responsible for any additional financial loss incurred as a result of cancellation.
