Discuss in small groups about concrete situations related to quality processes in genetic testing labs. Meet colleagues faced with similar challenges and problems.

This 2 hour round-table session will be held on quality assurance and quality control at the ESHG, Götheborg.

The aim of this session: to discuss in small groups on case studie related to quality processes in genetic testing laboratories (molecular, cytogenetic and biochemical), and to meet colleagues faced with similar challenges and problems. Training of personnel, reporting, sample reception, non-conformities, corrective and preventive action, and validation could be tackled.

Focus group: lab directors, scientists, technicians and quality managers working in a medical diagnostic laboratory. The round table session is of equal value to accredited and non-accredited genetic testing laboratories.

Access is free (when registered for the ESHG), but registration is necessary via an online form
