We aim to develop European guidelines for genetic testing based on an ethical and legal analysis of the main principles that are present in the actual guidelines that are collected.
We also want to evaluate the arguments in favor and against a common practice of the rights of patients / users of genetic services at the level of the EU. This is framed in an evaluation of the convergences and divergences in the protection of rights of patients between the EU member states in the light of the common European framework offered by the European Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine.
