Joris Vermeesch

P1.3 Joris Vermeesch - CME, KULeuven, is the head of the constitutional cytogenetics laboratory and responsible for the chromosome analysis for preimplantation, prenatal and postnatal diagnosis. This responsibility includes guaranteeing the quality of the laboratory and enhancing its performance. In addition, he is heading research activities aimed to develop novel techniques to perform diagnosis and, in collaboration with the clinical geneticists, to define the molecular causes of developmental, mental and behavioral disturbances.
