Michal Witt

P7 Michal Witt graduated in biochemistry, University of Poznan 1979, Ph.D. in human genetics, University of Medical Sciences in Poznan in 1982, MD University of Medical Sciences in Poznan in 1986, habilitation at the Institute-Center of Child Health, Warsaw in 1995. Since 1997 head of the Div. of Molecular and Clinical Genetics at the Institute of Human Genetics in Poznan, since 1999 also Deputy Director of the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw. 1999-2001 President of the Polish Working Group for Cystic Fibrosis. Since 1996 member of the Scientific/Medical Advisory Council (SMAC) of the International Cystic Fibrosis (Mucoviscidosis) Association (ICFMA).
