P13 Ségolène Aymé is a medical geneticist and an epidemiologist, director of Research at the INSERM (National Institute of Health and Medical Research), currently director of the INSERM service entitled "Gene Mapping and Clinical Research" in Paris. She is the coordinator of OrphanPlatform, a FP6 project (SSA) that has been accepted in the first call. Her research activity has been dedicated to the epidemiology of birth defects and to the assessment of the impact of new technologies in genetics on Public Health. She is expert to the European Commission and member of the INSERM ethics committee.
