| CV | P4.2 Andrew Devereau is a computer scientist and informatics developer at the National Genetic Reference Laboratory (NGRL) in Manchester. The laboratory is one of two reference laboratories in the UK, set up with funding from the UK Department of Health, which have a brief to support the network of genetic centers in the UK and to advise the Department of Health on health technologies and future developments. His specific area of responsibility is laboratory information management and bioinformatic applications and covers two sub-projects: (i) The design and specification of LIMS in molecular genetics and (ii) The development of a mutation repository and associated tools for UK diagnostic labs. | |
