Tom Janssens

After graduating as a biomedical scientist, Tom Janssens started working at the Centre for Human Genetics, University of Leuven. He is now actively involved in that part of EuroGentest working on quality management and accreditation/certification of genetic testing. Being a clinical scientist, he is working on the development and standardisation of analytical and clinical validation of diagnostic tests, as well as performing the validation itself. Furthermore he assists in introducing new and emerging methods and technologies present on the market, with the purpose of introducing them in the diagnostic field.
