Fellowships/Training Forms

EuroGentest provides fellowships for collaborators of both official and non-official participants in the network. These fellowships cover the costs of travel (about 1500 Euros) and short stays (up to two weeks) in one of the participating services, for training in a specific methodology, in a particular expertise etc. Applications using the forms provided here must be sent to the coordinator at the email address below.

Clinical Molecular Geneticist in Nijmegen, the Netherlands

The Division DNA diagnostics within the Dept. of Human Genetics of the Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre specializes in clinical genetic molecular testing. The laboratory is the largest molecular genetic testing facility within The Netherlands, and offers a wide variety of genetic tests (www.dnadiagnostieknijmegen.nlExit EuroGentest website).

The activities of the division are supervised by a staff team of clinical molecular geneticists, and the team needs a new colleague. Team members have strong interactions with clinical geneticists, other medical specialists, clinical cytogeneticists and researchers within and outside the department

It is department policy to support individual staff members at reaching a profile of (inter)national recognition within a specialized area of Human Genetics.

Nijmegen is the oldest city of The Netherlands and has roots dating back to the Roman era. The city has approximately 150,000 inhabitants, and is located in a beautiful natural environment in the Eastern part of the country at a 100 km distance from Amsterdam, Rotterdam and the German Ruhrgebiet.

The appointment will be for one year, with a perspective on a permanent position. Salary depends on experience, with a max. of Euro 5156 per month. For further information email Dr Hans Scheffer at .
